Seriously though, its not to do with how long someone is online, Alistair's already contributed a lot to BE one way and another - articles and wiki and stuff, I think he's a good choice. I'm too cynical these days to be much good at welcoming new posters, more likely to send them running for the hills

Seriously though, its not to do with how long someone is online, Alistair's already contributed a lot to BE one way and another - articles and wiki and stuff, I think he's a good choice.
