Well it hasn't closed yet so I'm going to tell anybody that will listen that I feel like crap, and have been doing so on and off for a few weeks now. Headache, stomach ache, going dizzy...hard to know what's causing it when you have so many ailments.

I'm suspicious that the Actonel (osteoporosis drug) is getting to my liver.

I've seen Dr B and I'm doing some re-tests this week.

Blimey.

Good luck with that S.

I think we should all have a bit of a thyroid meet up... in Sydney one day.

Anyone up for that one day? Lunch?

Sorry to hear that. It could also be that you're sturggling with the natural thyroid if your adrenals arent getting the support they need? I remember that your cortisol levels were lower than mine. Could be worth checking your temp to see how things are looking - this can give you an indication of your thyroid levels and also your adrenal status. Worth tracking anyway before you see Ludka next?

Count me in so long as it's not a Friday in the next few weeks, most other days are doable.

I'm re-doing the cortisol test, Mrs J - just been so busy on and off lately that I haven't managed to find a couple of clear days to stay home to do it and then get to the lab with it next morning.

I've vaguelly monitored my temperature in the past and I know it's usually 35.x; maybe, as you say, I should do it more scientifically for a while.

Glad to hear you're redoing the test. You need to be off the HC (if you're taking it that is) for a good few weeks beforehand though otherwise your results wont mean zip. Temping is a great way to keep an eye on your adrenals - being low tells you that your Hypo but jumping all over the place from day to day tells you your adrenals need support too.

Let us know how you go
