Rich is forthright never nasty. And as for me being nasty well I think a few people may disagree with you. (having said a lot may agree too).

I think that if you just replied :

"What is wrong with getting a passport from her country of birth?"

You would have saved everyone from complaining about the rudeness of your post.

It does get frustrating when you see stupid questions all the time but at the same time, what may seem stupid to you could be worrying the person who asked it. This can mean that they will be stressed and it doesn't help getting a stressful reply.

Also i do not believe this post was stupid but i guess thats why Butch gave a frustrated response.

The whole point of this site is to alleviate stress from the whole immigration process obviously it is impossible to create a totally stress free feeling but you can help by being nicer.

Liz gave the best advice - if you don't like someone's tone, ignore the post or ignore them. If you feel it goes beyond that, hit the "report post" button and let a moderator take a look.

I don't think we're getting any more useful info for Liz's friend, so this thread is closed.
