the web address is:- www.conceptaustralia.co.uk The other thing we liked about it was you pay as you go. the two guys there, Martin and Steve used to work for the australian immigration office when it was based in Manchester.

We used "Go Matilda" for both skills assessment and the visa application. Their fess are very reasonable. And as we have our visas, we are very happy with them.

They do a free assessment. Check out their website here:

Thanks Gina, we'll have a look at them too.

Should i use an Migration expert or go it alone.

If i were to use an migration expert , does anyone know the better ones around.

also how much do they costs.

Any comments would be helpful

Thanks in advance
Hi

We are using AMA (Active Migration Australia) based in Perth - website free test: www.theozlife.com or contact [email protected] who would be happy to assist with initial queries.

She was recommended to us by a friend who is happily settled in Perth now. They have been great in breaking down the tasks and sending clear instructions on what is needed each step of the way.

Costs: $3600 if paid in one installment, two installments of $2000 for agency fees. TRA costs: $500. Visa Fee: $1935 (ish). Medicals (for two)£400. Xrays (for two): £116. Boat loads of Photos - Courier & International Signed for costs - Certification of copy documents (£30 at local solicitor).

The joy of a potential new lifestyle: PRICELESS!!!!!!!

Exactly, it's worth paying as we're not sure we've got the time and patience to do it all ourselves! Thanks for the info'

Laura,

If you or your husband want a chat about being an accountant in Australia, exams he can sit to become a member of the Institute of CA's in Australia, etc please feel able to send me an email or a Private Message through this forum.

Best regards.

We are planning on applying in January (my hubby is a qualified accountant, and we can't apply until Jan as he's got to have post qualified experience).
Hubby is going to fly out this year to visit schools and join agencies etc.
We just don't know where to start...it all seems so daunting!
