You can only get funding for a lap band if you have a bmi greater than 35. Patients can still have the op privately (same surgeons, same lists, same hospital,...

Also, I'm only mentioning my own weight issue so you don't think I'm some skinny bitch with not a clue! I think in my first post (which was ignored) I quoted prices, so I am fully aware what it costs...
