Thanks - thatâ€™s what I was afraid of and even if I could get insurance as we get older I assume the cost will just get out of control and we would not be able to form it.

yes but at that time I might return to the uk within the year if things donâ€™t work out, the pension would still be paid into a UK bank, which is why we would still be keeping our house.

Many thanks for the reply - yes I realize that eventually the state pension will freeze but will leave it a few years first as weâ€™re going to rent our home before we decide to make the final push...
