You are right foha2012, but IMO there would be many other applicants who are not part of BE or any other expatriate forum and they may have received successful acknowledgment. Just my thought....

There is no certain time frame for expecting the confirmation E-mail from Victoria's sponsorship department as they are overloaded with thousands of applications. Be patient and you will get it...

No you should not be worried, but to be on the safe side, drop them an email to confirm that the are accessing you against the right occupation. No one should be offended from your confirmation email.

Just scan them and attach them to your online application. No hard copies needed. Also go to the Victorian sponsorship website and go through their requirements for applying for sponsorship and you...

I think they are sending acknowledgment emails now WITHOUT mentioning the occupation code as many of us have found it to be mismatching than what we actually applied for.

This may be another bug...

His long wait has a lot to do with the new SOL implementation and creation of SMP plans based on the new SOL.

That is sad to hear, but you should not lose hope and seek NT, ACT or QLD sponsorship. Can you please share what amount did you mentioned as funds?
