I think the word "travel" throws up an ambiguity. Non possession of a UK passport does not preclude entry to the UK (for a British citizen) but the airline may refuse boarding. I think!

Not a dual citizen but if its any consolation, I have just renewed mine (ftom Hungary) and it took less than 3 weeks.

So dual citizenship has cobsiderable benefits (obviously), doubtless outweighing the alleged inconvenience of the new requirements, so need for grumbles.

Round here new builds are selling at around 2,5 million / square metre!
(We paid less than 500,000 / m2 when we bought our first...

We don't use taxis very often, happily the occurrence I mention has, so far, proved a one off.

Never had an interaction with the Police! Yet!

I read recently that property prices are now almost on a par with northern Europe - I guess some economists might think that's a good thing!

Our teacher explained that, for a Hungarian, hearing & speaking English is (relatively) easy but reading & writing difficult - for the English (learning Hungarian) the opposite...

The hardest thing I've found with the language is Hungarians saying things quite differently to us and I'm not referring to vocabulary or grammar but the way things can be expressed.
