Think they are meant to be kept in a moveable cage, which should be python proof, rather than free-range.

Apparently guinea pigs make good lawnmowers - a pair can get through 20 square metres a week. Might be easier!!

Just be careful not to ringbark the trees with the strimmer!

Wear wellies when you do it too, as flying stones and debris sting like blazes. Also good for preventing tics from attacking if you...

Get a flymo - we got a petrol one and it is too heavy (honest) for me to use on our hilly lawns. OH got a battery powered strimmer which I use around the back garden as it has tiny terraced patches....
