Excellent Anita, I dont know much about the mid provinces of Canada, but I think you post sums up Canada as a whole.

Im heading to Ontario, proabably early next year - about and hours drive north...

A friend asked me the other day "what are you reasons for emigrating?", and without going into the usual negative stuff about the uk (which sadly there is plenty of) I tried...

Yes I tend to agree with that - unless you are talking to someone face to face and in depth, I think conclusions can be drawn far too hastily, ...it seemed to me to be a glib opinion on the topic....
