Threads often go off topic, most of them do. I think its right to ask questions when you see/hear worrying comments. If you dont see them, well, that reflects on your experience not mine. I do, and I can't just ignore them. To do that in my opinion would be as bad as making them myself.
The post in red are signs of rants and stress. I think it's right to ask questions too, and I do see your points. But, to get worked up about it like you seem to be, - is crazy!

After all, the original poster is not even making the fuss you are. It's like you're doing your very best to make it race related and don't know when to let go, hmmm - say comparing it to a dog with a bone would be a good example.

If the original poster is not phased or upset by the post thne so be it. He's already said that in all the years he's been in the Uk he's not experiend race problems He now puts a post on this forum and you are doing your very best to make it a race issue, you're reading way to far in to this.

Y

Like I suggested, perhaps you need to take a walk

I would suggest that if you need to even ask the question you should stay put! You should have really good reasons to make the move here, and you don't seem to have any. I would also suggest having a good look at the Moving Back to the UK part of this forum, which is where I'm usually found these days, as I'm moving back at the end of June............... we're into June now.....great, only 29 days to go!

We're heading to Manitoba on their PNP, not sure when as we're still getting our application together. All being well, will be about a year from now

We're going on a recce to Winnipeg in a couple weeks - can't wait!

How bout you?

Anita

PS - Marcha, you're right in that some parts of Canada are quiet (like the UK) but it is the 2nd largest country in the world so I'm sure a little exploring would find you a suitably lively, fun-packed place to live - if you decide to leave Blighty that is
Excellent Anita, I dont know much about the mid provinces of Canada, but I think you post sums up Canada as a whole.

Im heading to Ontario, proabably early next year - about and hours drive north of Toronto. Ive got a friend who lives out there, so it will hopefully make settling in a little easier and quicker.

Im also going for a 2 week holiday in September, got some great things planned, I will also be using the time to try and gain some solid leads for a job.

Hope all goes well with your application and intended move.

Paul
