There were a few American staff when I worked in a FE college, one of them was a huge skiver, pretty sure I know why he moved to England :lol:

I wasn't that keen on school uniforms before coming here but I definitely am now. 90% of my daughter's consciousness is now taken up with what to wear to school.

The water costs have risen enormously. There is a fixed charge and 'readiness to serve' charge which are quite high, hard to get the cost of the metered portion down as we have a very small yard...
