Other UK income (eg employment pension) plus the state pension may take it over the allowance.

So no need to do anything if it's only UK state pension.

I think they messed up somewhere though and that it's normally much quicker.
The guy I spoke to seemed genuinely surprised the second I said I sent it in September, this was before he looked me up....

Not yet. Still hopeful it arrives and I can attribute the back pay into the right year.
Repaying seems a bit odd given the July adjustments based on the prior tax year's income. That's a double...

One thing I'm not clear on but must be common enough, I can't find anything on CRA or other googling about backpay of UK Pension.

For example, mine was due 2023 and they had plenty of time to have...

Yes.
I had that exact question last year. My eligible date was the week before the annual increase - and it was a bigger increase than usual.

That's what I was expecting for mine but they never did - ironic given who I used to work for :lol: - and I had to do mine the old fashioned way.
