I was just about to list about a dozen different Federal and Provincial examples of YYYY-MM-DD that I've actually done in the last two years and then I found a Province form wanting DD-MM-YYYY. ...

Do you mean "the man in the street"? Every Cheque book, federal forms, provincial forms I've ever done...they all have YYYY-MM-DD either alongside where it wants the date or faintly printed in the...
