Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

You didn’t say it was every 2 weeks. Not sure what your comment about counselling is about but it seems pretty rude tbh. I simply thought you’d been scammed by a dodgy immigration company that were...

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

I'm not judging you, but there's something not right about what you're telling us as you claim to have moved without a job offer or via EE.

If you look at JobBank, you'll see that the median...

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

Hi, welcome to BE. Just to say, there's no need for most to use an immigration consultant. Yours didn't magically make you eligible, so you could have done it on your own. How did you apply?

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

Just in case you’re not aware, you don’t need a job for the IEC visa. It’s an open work permit, so no employment required to get it. I’d get on applying for one asap though, as visas are going fast...

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

I think you’re thinking of Australia, there’s no such restriction for Canada, it’s a full 2 year open work permit. So you can work for all of that time, or none of it - your call.

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

It is only temporary, but would get you over there and mean you would bump your points up considerably once you've worked there for a while. I've not heard of any issues people have had with IEC's,...

Re: Best chance of moving to Canada despite EE freeze?

Hi, welcome to BE.

FSW draws are supposed to be starting again soon.

If you'll be turning 30 next year, then the obvious answer would be an IEC visa? Or have you already had one?
