I disagree with this article. I used to think you could keep a UK plated vehicle in Spain for 12 months (provided it had tax, MOT and insurance of course) but I was told otherwise.

Why do people WRONGLY put cars on SORN and then bring them to Spain - quite illegal.

SORN means that it is not allowed on the roads in ANY country - you are breaking the law!
