depends on where you are and what channels you want.
in north east of spain an 80cm dish can geta ll channels all day.
in other areas a 2.4m dish will not even get all channels all day.

Again, many of the UK TV channels on Freeview are available for free on satellite..BBC ITV C4 Five (although some of these (C4 Five Fiver Five USA) do require a freesatfromsky card to watch them in...

Yes.
As long as he has a spare output on his LNB, or you upgrade to a twin or 4 output LNB, then you just need to run cable from that LNB to your receiver.
You can even run more than 4 cables from...
