I sort of agree with you and sort of don't. I can only really comment on how this "she'll be right" seems to play out in schools though. On the whole I think that the she'll be right attitude fosters...

I keep telling myself that as she grows she'll want to take mroe and mroe risks in life and I have to get used to it, plus the risk is tiny and the benefits to her from camp huge. Still I fret...

7) Another biggie- no seat belts on school buses :ohmy: I've just waved my oldest off on a week's school camp and her bus had no seat belts at all. This makes me mad and anxious because I know the NZ...

RE the shite houses- I do think the solution is to either build or budget for modifications. There's no way I'd house my kids in damp housing.

I am sometimes unhappy with NZ and sometimes unhappy in NZ so thought I'd share my gripes:

1) Pak n' Save. I'm not a shopper- never shopped for leisure in the UK and consider shopping in any form...
