I would narrow it down rather more than being 'a bit Asiany'. These people if not Vietnamese were certainly Cambodians or maybe from Laos - most definately not Chinese, Pakistanis or Indians, for...

We ate in a Vietnamese restaurant at the end of Barrington Street when in Halifax last summer. The service was slow but the food was cheap and excellent. Most of the other customers were Vietnamese,...

I really enjoy NS and am hoping to make the move next year of not this, but even the 'sizeable towns' feel very small, and are very samey. But it's swings and roundabouts - I'm prepared to give up...

Are there any "backward sleepy fishing villages" in the UK? I thought they'd all long since been converted to holiday villages for people from the south-east to roll up at in their Audi TTs and 4WD...
