We're going New Zealand now instead. Not bothering to wait for the 175 to never come through anymore. Plus, once your in Oz its not all its cracked up to be :(

So does this mean if you get a company to sponsor you for a 457 and say after a year of working there you want to move companies, you can?

What happens if the original company makes you redundant?...

Man I never thought about the whole age thing with children and the delays in the processing. Just another worry isn't it!

Yeah we are Oct 2008 as well and planned the whole 12 months...

2231-11 Systems Manager so not on CSL.

Our backup plan was New Zealand so looks like this is whats going to happen now....

So, we paid £1600 all in for everything involved in the 175 process, spent 6 months doing all the work involved with RPL, IELTS, references, police checks etc. Lost my job because I had to get a...
