even rents arent exactly cheap. I was paying $1500/month for a one bedroom place. It was what I would call minimum standard (which is pretty high cos I am a snob :) ) I woudl say it just about...

i was quite shocked at the cost of living here in LA. I think its not so much the relative cost but the affordability of housing.
in London for example you can maybe still find something not too...
