Yup, I believe there are a lot of Canadians in the production roles, behind the scenes in a lot of TV progs. Also, as most of us know, some of the biggest movies out there, which lead us to believe...

My wife (Canadian) finds most of 'straight' British humour funny, but once you delve into the sarcastic satire, I think it's hard for any Canadian to know if it's humour or insult (slam or pompous...

A retired builder friend laughed at me one day we were out in the truck, saying "ya can tell you're a British driver, taking square corners" ......

I must admit, when I first arrived in Canada back in 2002, I had a fair bit of free time to kill, so as far as TV was concerned, The Red Green Show was pretty much the only thing I found remotely...

How do you find it .. some people say "raw" ... "honest" ... "direct" ... true reflection, or just a cultural response we still have to embrace?
