The US welfare system is actually pretty good, if your poor your going to be better off in the US largely because of 1 program most know as food stamps.

The US has social housing too, quality...

Probably have to keep that border for now....;)

The US and Canada need to create less hurdles and less border controls and be more open, and ideally use the same currency, why not have US stuff on...

Silly border, silly different currencies, probably hurts both countries in the end, complicates things way too much.

That seems to happen a lot, I always expect to have to pay taxes on stuff from the US when I order it, and then it arrives and nothing ever due, not even by land has any officer ever elected to...
