We are below average according to BC Hydro for our housing type, in the past year we used 3,165 KWh so breaks down to 8.67 per day, which is about...

Sounds like different regions calling it a different name, we do have a basic charge, so even if you use 0 per month in hydro, you will still get a bill, but I was surprised at how high some of these...

Besides Ontario, anyone one else in other provinces paying a delivery fee for electric service?

We appear to not have that it BC, just a basic per day charge, which for me is only like 5 bucks a...

Based on the fees and taxes on my hydro bill, your usage in BC would be 46.56 or so.

0.16640 per day basic charge.

$0.07520 per kW.h (this is the rate for the first 1,300 Kw.h it goes up after...

We have pretty low rates in BC, and the min. daily charge is reasonable as well, and as far as I know there is no connection or distribution fees added, as my bill does not reflect those types of...

I average 30 a month with BC hydro for a 2 bedroom apartment, everything is electric. Cooking, hot water, heating, lights, and air conditioning.

This includes the min. daily charge, 5% GST, and 5%...

Runs about 7.5 cents to 11.27 cents here in BC according to my bill depending on what tier your at. Tier 1 is 0 to 1,350 Kwh, and anything over 1,350 is charged at tier 2 which is 11.27 cents.

If we don't have to go to Vancouver for anything, we fill up 1-2 times a month usually, a tank lasts about 2-3 weeks, possibly a little longer if I have an extra day off work.

We rarely drive more...

I want those kind of rents....We are in subsidized rental in BC and pay more then that.....Any jobs out there...lol

We spend 200 a month on food for 2 people, what we eat varies week to week based on what is on sale and generally if its not on sale we don't buy it.

If we had a Super Wal-Mart I'd likely go there, but our Wal-Mart is a normal one, and the food selection is very small and mostly just junk foods with no fresh foods, and no meat or anything of that...

I don't need to compare what Super Store prices are, nearest one is over an hour away so no point in checking prices there since its not feasible to go there to shop.

We have 3 choices Save On...

1.96 for 1 liter of skim milk at Loblaws is pretty cheap, I got some today at Wal-Mart for 2.87, never seen milk under 2 dollars before in Canada.....
