Avoiding them. Feel safer here (UAE) than I did in London. Even before the attacks on the tube I wasn't very comfortable using it.

Worked there 2 years but commuted from Bahrain. Also spend time with work in Riyadh and Jeddah - try to be positive and look upon those times as 'de-tox' periods.

It's bloody awful...I hate going back, and that's for only a few days at a time.

If you're single and want to make some cash quickly it may be OK, but even then I'd think long and hard.
