Given that I have to go for a cardio X-ray and blood test tomorrow, and that I have just popped my fist blood pressure pill, I think cold turkey is in order.

I haven't had a single ciggy today and nor will I. Neither will I consume any caffeine or alcohol. Not an enjoyable visit to the doctors this morning.:ohmy:

I think the trick with using Carr's book is to get into the frame of mind he tried to promote. His philosophy was that you are not "giving up smoking"; you are stopping doing something you don't want...
