I think the province did it deliberately to send a message to the schools: "stop overloading the advanced classes with students that don't belong there".

That is good news indeed.

I wish ours had been that good. My stepson (16) is in the "enriched" (ie nerd) class at school. This year the Quebec govt made the maths exam so hard that a very high...
