If I took the lump sum, would I pay UK and/or US taxes on it? If I rolled it into my stateside 401K, would I pay UK/US taxes on the transaction?

Ok, I will continue then. It is a very small Civil Service classic scheme pension from when I worked there in the 1980s/1990s. I can claim it any time between now to when I turn 75. As of a few years...
