Man, I think you missed the point I was trying to make. There is nothing wrong with living in a Spanish apartment... Generally they are bigger than the UK equivalent and some offer great outdoor...

Townhouses from a license point of view are normally fine - Your not caught out by restrictions such as people living below you LOL.
They are normally on the edge town or in the centre of a village....
