Landed in Calgary on 6th Nov with a 16 yr old, 5 suitcases and 3 dogs. Staff in yyc were very helpful, wait was about an hour.

Spreadsheet update - CoPR received 16/7 - took a while as it had to go via a forwarding address in UK then come to Dubai. Landing planned late October / early November.

I used both. Online tool was showing DM as soon as I received the invitation to pre arrival services.

Check MYCIC - mine started processing on the 27th and I received the pre-arrival message on 28th. As soon as I checked MYCIC, it showed (decision made) and 2 hours later, I received the passport...

I received the same thing yesterday - MYCIC had already changed my status to "decision made" - two hours later, I also received the request for passport / photos to issue the CoPR. Hang in there.....

Received the invitation to pre arrival services today so I guess that's confirmation that all we're waiting for is the background check....and as of this evening, MYCIC is showing “decision made”!

I had a lot of failed efforts before managing to link mine. Make sure that if you gave a middle name on your application, you use it when trying to link. That was my issue.

Thanks - I was aware that it was sponsor approved (or NOT!) - just wasnt sure if it came by snailmail (given their propensity for faxes, etc over there!). Have updated address anyway, just in case...
