Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Hello. I forgot to write and say that my fiancé and kids all passed the medical exams last week. We also got a email confirming that the application has been sent to London.
We have also recently moved to Calgary, AB and getting through imigration at the airport was an absolute breeze. Told them my family and I are coming on dial intent and showed the officer my sponsor approval letter, and she said welcome home to all of us, and on we went. Now just to sit back and wait for the rest of the application to finish.

Hiya Hurl
Just a quick note to say that we received an email from IRCC, dated 12 Jul 18 (we were away, and off grid for a break), with the "Letter Accompanying the Visa" which tells us (along with a load of admin bumph) that the we have been sent a letter with the IMM5785 and IMM5688, which we assume to be the COPR and foil, but no sign of it yet. Will let you know - for a spreadsheet updte - when we have it in our hot little hands.
Only 4 months left to signpost, however, so need to tighten up our plans
We have not been asked for additional photos or passport, etc - is this likely to be normal?
Regards
SnA

Perfectly normal. We were not asked for either, the CoPR just turned up. Some people are asked for one or both and I don't think anyone has figured out why some are asked and others are not!!
Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
IMM 5688 is indeed the actual CoPR. IMM 5785 is not an actual 'form' it is an 'electronic foil' - all explained here;

Thanks for the help along the way.

CoPR arrived in the mail today!
A note in case it helps anyone: CiC had requested copy of passport and an additional family information update to be uploaded to My CiC account but didn't enable the function to do so. So I submitted an inquiry via their webform and attached the documents to that. Never heard back but received CoPR shortly after so assuming it worked.
