That sounds like around $500 sqm which appears very cheap. Just be worried about the quality of workmanship.

Agree with what you say about dealing with local contractors.

Any body got a handle on build costs for residential buildings in KL?

In Oz it was $3k per sqm about 10 years ago. Recently in NZ I paid around $10k per sqm so keen to get understanding of...
