On the surface your application sounds very simple. I'm curious why they wanted a cenomar if you are married? Were you perhaps not married at the date of birth?

There seems no explanation for...

Wow - that seems a very long time to wait. Hope I don't get the same. I plan to apply later this year. Did you send off your passport with the application? How have you managed visa extensions...

This is quite correct. BUT as of today (20th April 2015), I just got a letter from the British Embassy in Manila returning my application and telling me that the Overseas Birth Registration process...
