No, there is a upper income limit, then you only pay 1%.

My bro is a Very high income earner, when the tax went to 50% he was ranting and moving to OZ:rolleyes: till he found out the top tax...

Exactly.

Besides, as I made the point before how can anyone compare NI with medicare, hardly the same benefits at all, for a start one covers your pension and one doesnt.

NI is 11% but thatsNHS and your pension.

Medicare levy is 1.5 or 2.5% but its only for emergency medical care and a % of some medical...

Have you looked at the ATO site, once you earn over $37,000 the rate up to the $80,000 bracket is about 30% not 15 or 21%.:confused: Plus medicare levy.
