Land starts around $300,000+ for acerage (2 - 5) half hour to brisbane, good areas, much less if you are not so worried about the area. Going up in price of course if you came further in.

just seeing what you would get for your money in WA acerage wise, still looks very expensive and very dried out, not exactly scenic is it :eek:

My eldest is a second year electrician, he earns 1000 some weeks with overtime and hes not even qualified, so that does seem low. Thats not outback/mining its mainly brisbane and the coast. ...

Fully aware if people go to WA, prepared to work up to 16 hours from perth in the mining industry money can be made, OK same as prepared to go to Mount Isa, Rockhampton etc in QLD.
