Think its a little odd to go to another country only to be around your own countrymen, although many nationalities do it except the British i've found.

Sorry no, i'd also suggest looking through an area in google streets, it'll give you a good idea of places.

You could possibly look at croydon, its in the outer boroughs and gives you easy access to all of London and other places.

My first question is do you mean 1200 dollars or 1200 pounds. For 1200 dollars you wont be able to live anywhere in a bungalow in any of the locations you've mentioned and if you do it'll be a dive....
