It sounds as though you are ‘defacto’ a citizen, but i thin kyou will just have to prove it to get recorded and a passport - with the birth certificate of you and your mum [normal requirement] unless...

Im not the expert on barbados but you will need all sorts of evidence, forms etc and it will take months, possibly years and you may need to submit other than obvious docs, like a police record. ...
