I did not say 250k was not excessive (I also did not say it was excessive), I simply said it is what I spent on average over a month (including everything - car hire, rent, bills, purchasing goods...

A "typical Thai" does not drive a Lexus, there are many well off Thais and many more less well off.

For me it makes a big difference being Thai or being a foreigner.

I would not like to live like a typical Thai.

I would like to socialize in places with westerners, which are more expensive...

100k baht a month is tight, but doable.
