I agree with Modicasa. Anyway I was a passenger in a car not so long ago with the aircon turned up and the windows open just to confuse Brian.

I don't know the SS106 but these Strada Statale are often quite bad. I would say that the SS18 that runs from Napoli to Reggio Calabria is the most frightening road I have driven on in Italy. I think...

Brits can make mistakes too. A few weeks ago an English car travelling on the wrong side of the road crashed head on near Todi.

A big danger here is that some drivers will go through red traffic lights if they think they can get away with it. A few lights have cameras but most don't in Umbria.Another nasty thing is joining...

The roads around us have a shrine every few miles indicating the death toll. In Umbria there is quite a problem with off road motor bikes. They use shepherd tracks through forests and hills...

I bet he has a few aches and pains. The last time I visited Sardinia there were a group of Germans with their bikes that they had transported by lorry from Germany and I felt a bit envious. The roads...
