As far as I know you can not change a passport when it is valid more than 6 months, plz check the embassy website then you can find it out.
Be optimistic! and Let’s Hope that it won’t take that much...

Hi mate,
33 days ago case officer asked for validated passport of my hobby as it was expired and also new NPC certificate of both of us, we provided all documents yesterday and waiting for grant...

Hey mate,
As far as I understand all the secondary applicant needs to fill out the SRF because during filling out the online application and submitting the SRF will appear later.

Unfortunately not yet, still waiting!
Already 6 months has passed today.
I don't think that changing the main applicant be issue at this stage as far as I went to the Immigration office...
