Why do you feel that though?

Personally I've never agreed with expats having any voting privileges in the countries they've emigrated from.

Why should someone not currently living in a particular country (and in my view this applies equally to expats like Hotscot just as much as it does to the Scotsman in Berwick scenario) be entitled in...

The only time zone change I'd expect is that Scotland would remain on GMT all year round.

I've never been aware of that either. Or of the belief that Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are all "ststes within England" (sic) as was mentioned earlier.

Scottish people really are a touchy lot aren't they? I ended up being berated as a bigot the other night for daring to suggest that the BBC Alba tv station was, well, a bit pointless. :rolleyes:

Don't care one way or another as it's unlikely to affect me too much, living in England. As far as national identity is concerned, I'm British not English.
