Oh I know the impact that comment would have on a buyer. But I can't be arsed to pander to every little thing that a buyer wants. Carpets are easy to replace and/or clean. If they are that picky, or...

We didn't have dogs though..:p

And my comments to potential buyers would have been: don't like the smell, then you can clean or replace the carpets.
