Re: Covid 19

I think that sort of state monitoring is scary for no reason. It's hugely impressive and potentially very effective in a time like this. Imagine being tracked to the detail that you're told the bloke...

Re: Covid 19

Dunno, nobody does.
Some short term pain now, locking down and travel bans etc aimed at 'flattening the curve' seems a legit theory though. There's sense and care and social responsibility behind...

Re: Covid 19

It's got to be the right decision. Once more testing happens we'll surely see a jump in the numbers.

Re: Covid 19

Big enough if you want to come in for a cuddle and not be such a bellend?

I hope not, whilst we weren't ever buddies or particularly nice to each other, I hope he's not poorly, safely tucked up...

Re: Covid 19

Amen. So many people are captain casual about it. I don't want to be poorly, whether mild or not. Just don't want the germ.

You had the balls to make a prediction, just think of it like that.

Re: Covid 19

Ah, but there was an announcement that anyone leaving the house would need to wear one and that only wear one if you're sick or have any sort of cough etc. Then a day or two later it was cleared up....

Re: Covid 19

I don't think there's any cover up of the fact it's a curfew. The police cars patrolling at night are testament to that. It's lovely though to have the doors open and fresh air in the evening without...

Re: Covid 19

Lol at the spraying. I thought the same.

The cost is going to be huge....but not to many people in the UK initially. If you get furloughed for 5 months you've lost a month of salary (assuming...

Re: Covid 19

Indeed.
There are big name clients asking for rate reductions though. It's the cash protection game now and even if you stay on a job there's no guarantees you'll get paid on time or anytime soon....

Re: Covid 19

For selfish reasons, I hope the market stays open and busy and clients can keep the cash flowing.
I think the only way it can really happen is if sites have testing immediately. Test and isolate and...
