Assuming you're both British, you have to get the wedding certificate stamped and signed by the nearest UAE embassy to Cyprus (if there isn't one there).

I think wise. If you were warned off negotiating for the provisional offer then negging at the last hurdle might not have been smart.

You'll never know, but at least you've got a job you wanted????

They might do it just to save the hassle, but I've seen offers rescinded because of it too and I quote "I'd rather wait and employ someone who won't **** me around".

No.

Conditional offers are subject to certain things. This might include budgets, the rate the company agrees with their client to hire you etc etc.

You should have negotiated at conditional...

Plus...moving in August 2014 means needing to stay until April 2016 for tax reasons (I think that's correct), which if the money situation doesn't improve is a long time to stick out.

You need to read her contract, not all are the same, they may be employing here on family status, which may well be fine if you work or not.

Depending on who your wife works for, if you get a job then she becomes your responsibility.

IE; If I marry my Mrs, she loses her accommodation allowance / apartment, making us instantly worse off.
