The thing is all we are hearing about in these 48 pages are the negatives instead of the overwhelming positives of the NHS, it is a real shame as there is so little balance.

I havent lived in America but from what I understand give me the situation here any day. We have been extremely happy with all our dealings with the NHS to date.

I really think people are making too much out of what I am saying. I am not saying the NHS is perfect, like every other health service it is far from perfect but in this thread all we are seeing is...

Of course it isnt nice, noone would say otherwise. My point is that some just seem to concentrate on the negatives when there are so many positives.

I guess I just dont see the point of most of these links, of course they are all awful but they happen in every country in the world. The real NHS for us since being back has been fabulous, I'm sorry...

I hope you feel better soon and I absolutely agree with you that most Brits just have no idea how good they have it. I do laugh when I see some 'survey' telling us that shock horror 93% of Brits...

OK, it is just interesting that Americans seem to use sit on whereas we use ride on, I prefer to ride on really, sounds more comfortable. :D

I always mean to ask, is 'sit on' an American term, here and Australia it is ride on, not important but interesting how different people use different terms.
