That's the document needed to enter the US. Canadians don't need it to visit, but UK citizens do and can visit for the time on the I-94 without a visitor's visa. Not sure about any other rules...

So we landed today. Yay!

Went across at Detroit to do some shopping and lunch. Hubby got an I-94 with little hassle, he's done this before and they just processed him.

I'm very interested too! My husband and I are going across at Detroit on Tuesday. Debating whether to claim it as a shopping trip then come home after or to tell them we intend to land on the way...

No 123me.. we are both in Canada. After almost a year he's really antsy to start working and we can have that nice normal life together. Really - REALLY - can't wait.

Fingers crossed for you too! We didn't have any confirmation of any kind. And it turns out that the medicals were sent to Ottawa, but the tracking number we were given is meaningless to Canada Post....

Had an interesting phone call from the High Commission yesterday. A lady phoned to say our medical has not arrived and can't be located, so would we please track it down from the doctor's end and let...

Ok let me make sure I'm doing this right. When I log in to ECAS I type the UCI number, my own name and info (as the sponsor) and it says "sponsor application status - decision made" and "permanent...

How very frustrating Victorfoxtrot!! I'd be livid.. well what else can you do? No one else feels the intense need to get your life on a normal track... just you and your partner. It's maddening....

I'm on the same timeline as 123me and have heard NOTHING about medicals good or bad. Seems like every single case is handled differently. Can be aggravating!

Yay!! Sponsorship approval letter came today, decision made Jan 11/2012.

One more thing down. Moving right along.

Thanks to all of you waiting with us... keeps me sane.
