My freshly painted white ceiling in the small bedroom is now covered in brown patches from snow that has blown in between the roof tiles, melted and soaked through the dirt floor of the loft :(

Hedgerows are good for the planet though. They provide a habitat for birds and other wildlife as well as producing oxygen.

You can see from some of those photos that it is mainly down to bad road design as there is hardly any snow in the fields, it has all ended up on the road. If every road was planted with hedgerows...

Yes, it is instead of the UK Road Fund Licence but if you use motorways you also need a vignette. My little 700cc car would be quite cheap to tax in UK and in fact last year it probably cost me more...

Mine is only 3000 Ft for the normal Council Tax but there is an additional bill for 11,400 Ft for the local car tax.

At least goats are not fussy about what they eat. The shop probably sells things like pasta that you could cook up for them if desperate.

My electricity keeps going off for a few seconds at a time, just long enough to shut down the PC. I have re-booted it 4 times already. I've not lit the stove in case the power goes off and stays off....

Yes the weather monitoring information is saying that it is currently 5.2 degrees in Nagykanizsa but there is white frost on everything here!

I have done the chain now and it's much better. Someone gave me a link to a PDF file for the Oregon chain that I'm using and I also found the instructions for the chainsaw in Hungarian are much more...
