With that little stuff, seriously consider get rid of everything except the boxes and use air freight for them. By the way, the TV will not work in Canada.

Are you sure that it wasn't the sea voyage that caused the damage? Sometimes you just have bad luck with the weather which is why there is insurance.

I would say that you should communicate with at least 4 companies in the UK, even if you only end up taking quotes from a couple of them. We went with shipit.co.uk which did a pretty amazing job on...
