The Dominicks across the road has a British/Irish section now but its very pricey! A bottle of squash is $6!
Good call on the bacon though Ill check that out!

Going to be moving to Evanston once I have got a job! At my Husbands Dads is Park Ridge at the moment which isnt ideal!

Perfect! you are doing well at fixing all my problems!
Now the only thing i will be missing will be a proper pub, none of these pretend Irish pubs that dont look anything like an Irish pub!

I think as we only want an apartment for the first few years we can afford Evanston, but as soon as we want to get a house i think we would have to move further out!

wow i am so jealous! although i did touch it when we went to the hockey hall of fame in Toronto, but that was before Chicago were Stanley Cup Champs!

Nice! my husband plays punk rock. its actually how we met as i play drums and was in Chicago to see his band play!

Im at the very early stages of getting my visa, but hoping to be out by summer!
