Most Americans I talk to want to go to Ireland to trace their ancestry and I don't see Ireland exactly rolling in tourism dollars.

I don't understand why there'll be an increase in tourism. What's going to be so different that more people will want to go there?

As far as I'm aware, yes that is the intention. Although why you'd go to all this trouble to gain independence and then hurl yourself into the clutches of the EU is beyond me.:confused:

Wouldn't the Bank of England need to agree to continue underwriting the British pound for it to be of any value in Scotland?
